As part of what we offer as an all-inclusive social organization, we always plan to ensure that the needs of our members are met, by creating not only in-house activities but also being open to other activities in the community that may interest our members.
When you become a member of the Cairns and District Senior Citizens Association you will be able to join in on our special events that will engage you physically and mentally.
Our special events calendar includes, but is not limited to:
Health talks
Regularly scheduled speakers
Fire safety forums
Christmas in July
Excursions and outings
Trivia days/nights
Public Festivities (including Mother’s Day/Father’s Day/Christmas/Easter/Anzac Day)
Live Musical entertainment.
Birthday celebrations
The above helps to break the monotony of life, and bring happiness.
We are always looking for more fun activities and events to add to our calendar so we welcome suggestions and open discussion about the kinds of things you would like to do.
Our full list of upcoming special events is listed on our Facebook page as well as here on our website, and bookings can be made easily, so you don’t have to miss out.
To book yourself in for one of our events, or to find out more information, we invite you to send us an email or give us a call to see how we can help you!
